5x hotspots in Tilburg: van friet met onbeperkt saus tot korting op taartjes en lp’s
Vandaag heb ik een unieke combinatie van hotspots voor je! Ik ging deze week naar Tilburg, waar ik toch wel erg leuke winkeltjes tegenkwam. Toen ik door mijn foto’s scrolde dacht ik: hier kan ik net zo goed een blog over schrijven.
In dit artikel vind je hotspots in Tilburg, tips voor kortingen én voor cadeaus.
1. Frites Affairs Tilburg: onbeperkt saus voor maar €0,95
Oh dit was echt zo geweldig. Ik grapte van tevoren nog over dure saus bij friet. Maar bij deze snackbar krijg je gewoon onbeperkt allerlei verschillende sauzen voor een prijs die veel frietzaken vragen voor alléén mayo.
De verschillende sauzen bij deze frietzaak in Tilburg:
- Saté mayonaise (niet geproefd)
- Curry (smaakt naar Duitse curry, je weet wel, die bij de curryworst)
- Ketchup (lekker, ik ben sinds kort toevallig weer fan van ketchup)
- Amerikaanse mayo (dit smaakte als een soort vissaus)
- Mango mayo (smaakt erg zoet. Deze was niet zo mijn ding)
- Truffelmayonaise (kies ik vaker! Lekker)
- Avocadomayonaise (ik had hier meer van verwacht. Het smaakte erg zacht)
- Knoflook mayonaise (vond ik erg lekker)
- Mayonaise
Ik vond het zó leuk dat je steeds andere smaken kon gaan halen. Uiteindelijk was de combinatie van de ‘Duitse’ curry en knoflookmayo mijn favoriet.
2. Platenzaak Sounds Tilburg, met sale
Ik weet niet waarom, maar ik dacht altijd dat er in platenzaken niet echt korting was. Misschien op de oude onbekendere lp’s, maar niet op nieuw.
Tip voor het uitzoeken van platen: zoek de liedjes gewoon even op op Spotify, en houd je telefoon bij je oor. Dit kan gewoon in de winkel zelf! Dit is hoe ik altijd even check wat ik ervan vind. Zo kun je tenminste ook nieuwe liedjes ontdekken. Anders blijf je alleen zoeken naar datgene wat je al kent.
3. Coffee company Tilburg + bespaartip Too Good to go
Ik lust geen koffie, dus daar kan ik niks over zeggen, maar de thee bij Coffee Company was erg lekker. Daar kan ook weinig mee misgaan 😉 En, ook leuk: limonades!
Ook hebben ze hier taartjes die er lekker uitzien. Ik heb ze nog niet geproefd, maar dat wil ik wel nog doen! Wil je de taartjes (ook) goedkoop proeven, dan heb ik een tip voor je: ze plaatsen af en toe iets op Too Good To Go. Dat is een app waar je voor weinig geld overgebleven eten kunt kopen van restaurants, bakkers, etc. Het fijne is dat ze vroeg sluiten, dus dat je niet mega laat nog de deur uit hoeft om een Too Good To Go pakketje op te halen bij Coffee Company.
Coffee Company in Tilburg is erg groot, en met hoge plafonds. En het is ook de juiste plek als je even naar de wc wilt.
4. VanDeMaker Tilburg
Bij deze winkel hadden ze superleuke spullen die je cadeau kunt geven. En hele leuke kaartjes! In Den Bosch ga ik bijvoorbeeld graag naar AAF Conceptstore (die inmiddels 2 vestigingen heeft daar), maar het is leuk om nu even wat andere spulletjes gezien te hebben.
5. Sissy-boy Tilburg: soms korting op jellycat
Misschien zou je dit geen hotspot noemen omdat het een bekende winkel is. Maar waarom ik hier graag kom, is omdat ze Jellycat knuffels hebben. Die zijn echt zo schattig! Als je geluk hebt dan zijn ze precies in de aanbieding. Dat was nu helaas niet zo. De linker foto van de Jellycat tennisbal was van een tijdje geleden, in Den Bosch. Dit merk is echt om te verzamelen, mijn bed ligt er mee vol en ik heb nog wat nieuwe op mijn kast staan. Ze behouden grotendeels hun waarde (zeker als je ze voor de sier neerzet).
Verder paste ik ook wat kleding, maar de prijzen zijn (zelfs in de aanbieding) iets wat ik nu niet wil betalen. Maar ik moet zeggen dat ze erg mooie stoffen hebben, die koel aanvoelen. Tegenwoordig verkopen kledingwinkels zoveel zweetstofjes; maar dat is bij Sissy-Boy dus niet zo.
Wat kocht ik vandaag in Tilburg?
Ik kocht een broek van de C&A die was afgeprijsd van €18 naar €3,30 (dat zijn nog eens prijzen!), en een topje dat ik al in het lichtgroen had, voor €7,99. Die broek is een fijne joggingbroek. Ik ben er zo blij mee, het zit zo lekker! Verder kocht ik bij VanDeMaker een leuk kaartje voor €1,95, dat niet op de foto staat omdat ik ‘m nog wil weggeven. Qua eten kocht ik naast de friet ook nog een broodje kroket bij Hema (om 11:30 al, haha!).
Dat zijn niet echt gigantische uitgaven hè, voor zo’n dagje winkelen. Ik moet ook zeggen dat ik minder spullen ben gaan kopen sinds ik langer op mezelf woon. Het wordt tijd dat ik een artikel schrijf met mijn bespaartips, denk ik. Hoewel er in deze blog ook al een paar verstopt zitten, bedenk ik me nu!
