4 hoogtepunten uit studiejaar 3 van Business Innovation (+ belangrijke les over focus & keuzes)
Dit studiejaar leerde ik een belangrijke les over focus & mijn doelen halen. Die les deel ik graag met je, aan het einde van deze blog.
Ik wilde namelijk beginnen met 4 leuke hoogtepunten van het 3de jaar van mijn studie Business Innovation. Door je eerst even mee te nemen in mijn jaar, snap je straks hoe ik die les heb geleerd & wat dat opleverde aan vooruitgang 🙂
1. Ik leerde sessies & workshops beter faciliteren
Ik volgde het vak ‘faciliteren’, en plaatste daarom een oproepje op LinkedIn voor een (Instagram) contentsessie. Een medewerker van een groot bedrijf reageerde. Daar heb ik een contentsessie mogen houden met superleuke deelnemers 🙂
Vanuit mijn bedrijf bied ik nu ook 1:1 brainstormsessies aan voor Instagram content. De eerste onderneemster heb ik hiermee al geholpen (zo leuk!).
2. Ik kreeg tools om een visie te ontwikkelen (voor mezelf en voor teams)
In het vak ‘visieontwikkeling’ kregen we technieken om een visie te formuleren. Enorm leerzaam! Er zit echt een heel proces achter. En: ik kan nu ook een workshop geven om een team tot een visie te laten komen. Bijvoorbeeld tijdens innovatietrajecten, om meer richting te geven.
Het aanbieden van een visie-traject of een “hoe ontwikkel je een visie” mini-cursus staat inmiddels op de planning voor mijn bedrijf 🙂 Met het gratis e-book hierover ben ik zelfs al gestart. Ik deel hem via mijn Instagram zodra hij af is.
3. Ik merk dat ik duurzaamheid veel belangrijker ben gaan vinden
Business Innovation draait veel om duurzaamheid. Toch deed ik op persoonlijk gebied vooral aan duurzaamheid als het voor mij goedkoper of beter uitpakte. Dat klinkt natuurlijk niet echt als de juiste mindset als Business Innovator, vind ik.
Na vakken gevolgd te hebben zoals Corporate Social Responsibility ben ik gaan inzien dat duurzaamheid enorm belangrijk is. Zelf vind ik het een belangrijke eigenschap om je mening te kunnen bijstellen, dus bij deze 😉
4. We mochten 100 uur besteden aan persoonlijke leerdoelen
Ik stelde mezelf o.a. als doel om beter te leren presenteren. Bij Vinh Giang, een internationale keynote speaker, volgde ik een online cursus over public speaking. 5 dagen lang oefenden we elke ochtend met mensen over de hele wereld. (Dat was dus lekker vroeg opstaan in de meivakantie!)
Daarnaast ging (en ga) ik naar logopedie om van mijn duizeligheid af te komen tijdens het spreken. En bij A Cup of Ambition volgde ik een online cursus over spreker worden.
Ik heb echt nog veel meer gedaan om aan die 100 uur te komen, maar dat wordt te lang om nu op te noemen.
Dan nu mijn grootste les dit studiejaar
Wat je misschien opvalt is dat mijn invulling van dit studiejaar bijdraagt aan één doel: skills leren die waardevol gaan zijn voor mijn aanbod & toekomstige aanbod (Instagram contentsessies & later ook cursussen).
Met heldere doelen kon ik sneller betere keuzes maken. We maken veel keuzes op een dag, dus betere keuzes maken heeft al snel veel impact. Voordat ik een doel (of visie!) had, twijfelde ik steeds over allerlei keuzes, en nu al een stuk minder dan eerst 🙂
Ik hoop dat dit je aan het denken zet over welke keuzes je in een jaar kunt maken die je naar je doel leiden.
