Personal update: rijlessen & m’n gedachtes over wanneer ik 18 word
Ik heb het er met m’n vrienden weleens over. Op je achttiende moet je alles zelf betalen. Je zorgverzekering bijvoorbeeld, en misschien ben je op je 17de zelfs al begonnen met het betalen van je rijlessen. En dat terwijl je daar op deze leeftijd júíst nog helemaal geen geld voor hebt. Niemand weet precies wat hij of zij hiermee aanmoet, maar we doen allemaal ons best om in ieder geval wat bij te verdienen. Eigenlijk houdt dit me best wel bezig, want vanaf je 17de totdat je klaar bent met studeren, moet je steeds meer betalen én op steeds meer andere dingen gaan letten.
Nu ik 17 ben: rijlessen, bijbaantje
Als ik 18 ben
Hoewel ik het met m’n vrienden eigenlijk alleen maar over het hebben van een bijbaantje en het betalen van je zorgverzekering heb gehad, komt er dus nog veel meer bij kijken. Gelukkig duurt het nog 8 maanden voordat ik 18 word, maar het lijkt eigenlijk al vrij dichtbij. Ondanks dat voel ik me nog totaal niet volwassen, maar ja, als je het zo bekijkt duurt het nog drie kwartalen, dus dat is eigenlijk best lang.
Later: na m’n studie
Wat ik wel weet, is dat ik later sowieso op vaste kosten – gas, licht, energie, verzekeringen, en meer van dat soort vervelende dingen – zou besparen. Niet zomaar een verzekering afsluiten als ik nog niet heb gezocht naar iets goedkopers. Ik zou in ieder geval meerdere sites bekijken voordat ik ergens een heel jaar aan vast zit. Te beginnen met energie vergelijken, maar ook gas en licht kunnen best duur zijn. Ik zie het al voor me hoe ik later veel te veel tijd aan het vergelijken van dit soort dingen ga besteden, maar ik betaal gewoon liever niet onnodig te veel.
Zo’n 700 woorden verder, besef ik dat ik nog een veel uitgebreidere mening heb over dit soort dingen. Van geld verdienen als tiener tot wat ik later ga doen. Voor nu laat ik het hierbij, maar ik zal vast nog wel een andere update schrijven over dit onderwerp 🙂
