Het fotoboek van Rome, waar ik het al weken over had op m’n blog, is eindelijk af. Ik heb dit fotoboek laten maken bij Webprint. En wow, wat ben ik blij dat het resultaat ontzettend mooi is. Dat laat ik natuurlijk graag zien in een uitgebreide review.
Ik heb al meer ervaring met Webprint trouwens. Twee jaar geleden bestelde ik daar ook al producten. Die review over Webprint staat nog steeds online. De notitieboeken die ik toen uitkoos, gebruik ik nog steeds. Zoveel bladzijden hadden ze!
De fotoproducten van Webprint
Webprint verkoopt enorm veel fotoproducten. Van wanddecoratie zoals foto’s op canvas, tot fotocadeaus zoals een telefoonhoesje met je eigen foto. Alles kun je helemaal zelf ontwerpen en dat maakt het zo speciaal. Je kunt het zo gek niet bedenken, en ze verkopen het. Ze hebben een snelle service en je bestelling is binnen maximaal een week in huis. Als je ergens in het begin van de week bestelt, dan kun je je pakketje zelfs binnen een paar dagen thuis verwachten. Natuurlijk moeten alle producten nog gemaakt worden, maar er is alsnog een snelle en fijne service.
Een fotoboek laten maken
Dat is dus wat ik deed. Ik heb heel veel vakantiefoto’s gemaakt in Rome, en die wilde ik natuurlijk op een speciale manier bewaren. Wat is dan een leuker idee dan dat op deze manier te doen?
De review: wat vind ik ervan?
Ik koos voor een liggend, XL fotoboek. En groot is bij webprint écht groot. Als het boek openligt, dan is hij 72 cm breed. Wow! De kwaliteit is enorm goed. De foto’s zijn erg scherp afgedrukt en de kleuren zijn mooi. De achterkant heb ik wit gelaten, maar daar kun je ook nog een iets op laten drukken als je wilt. Verder worden de foto’s gedrukt op stevig papier. Dat vind ik echt een pluspunt! Ook kun je er een bewaardoos bij bestellen. Zo kun je het fotoboek cadeau geven bijvoorbeeld, of hem netjes bewaren zodat hij niet beschadigt.
Je kunt dit fotoboek kopen voor €49,95. Het is uit te breiden tot wel 100 pagina’s! Zelf heb ik 25 pagina’s en was het met verzendkosten zo’n €60,-.
De indeling van het fotoboek
Ik heb steeds aan de ene kant een grote foto gedaan, en aan de andere kant een rechtopstaande foto met tekst ernaast. Op de meeste foto’s kijkt dan de persoon naar de andere bladzijde. Deze twee bladzijdes vind ik toch wel de mooiste! Niet alleen de foto’s op zich, maar ook de combinatie. Toen ik in Rome was, keek ik (op de linker foto) dus ook echt naar de brug die je op de rechter foto ziet. Beide foto’s zijn gemaakt vanaf de Engelenbrug.
De meeste foto’s heb ik op chronologische volgorde gezet. De letters zijn groot, maar passen goed bij het grote formaat fotoboek dat ik heb uitgekozen. Dat past dus goed bij elkaar. En zo kan ik het later ook nog lezen, haha! Ik vind het eigenlijk wel perfect zo!
Je eigen fotoboek maken: tips
Ja, je denkt vast dat het makkelijk is om zoiets te maken. Dat is het dus niet! En daarom heb ik wat tips bedacht die je helpen als je zelf ook een fotoboek wilt bestellen.
- Neem er de tijd voor. In een uurtje heb je zoiets niet af.
- Schrijf er teksten bij, zodat je ook de herinneringen bij de foto niet vergeet.
- Na een tijdje is je winkelmandje leeg, en dan moet je opnieuw beginnen. Ik spreek uit ervaring. Sla je product op in je persoonlijke profiel, dat werkt wel!
- Gebruik het raster om te kijken of je tekst bij de foto in het midden staat
