Normaal gesproken kocht ik mijn benodigdheden bij Beadies (Utrecht, maar die winkel zit ook in Amsterdam). Daar koop ik nog steeds de meeste dingen, maar een deel heb ik nu op Aliexpress gevonden. Voor slechts 33 cent kon ik het niet laten: ik moest deze wrap choker kopen. Voor dat geld mag ik zeker niet klagen. Toch heb ik ten eerste geen idee hoe ik dit ding om moet doen, om eerlijk te zijn, haha! Ja, ik weet dat je er op een of andere manier een knoop in moet leggen zodat de twee touwtjes bij elkaar komen. Ik heb alleen geen idee hoe. En anders ziet zo’n choker er best wel lomp uit. Dus ik weet het nog niet, wat ik hiervan moet vinden. Máááár: Roos heeft in haar Aliexpress artikel wél iets moois gemaakt van haar choker. Ziet er echt schattig uit, als je er een strikje van maakt.

Om een ketting te kunnen verstellen qua lengte, heb je verlengstukjes nodig. Je kunt het misschien niet goed zien, maar het zijn gewoon een stuk of 8 ringetjes aan elkaar. Hoe groter zo’n tussenstukje, hoe groter het verschil van de lengtes waarop je je ketting kunt gaan dragen.

Voor tussen de sluiting en een tussenstukje. Die kosten bij Beadies volgens mij 40 cent per stuk. Nu had ik er 500! Daar kan ik echt héél lang mee vooruit. Ik hoef waarschijnlijk nooit meer nieuwe te kopen.

En dan als laatste: de sluitinkjes. Deze sluitingen zijn misschien nét wat groter dan ik gedacht had, maar ze zien er goed uit. Geen lelijke kleur goud, dus dat is fijn. In zo’n zakje zitten er 100.

En dan, kocht ik naast deze dingen nog iets: fishnet panty’s. Omdat ik niet kon kiezen tussen middelmatige en grote gaten, had ik beide soorten fishnet panty’s besteld. Ik kan er maar één ding over zeggen: zoiets koop ik nooit meer bij Aliexpress. Miskopen als deze zijn gewoon zonde. Zo’n panty gaat snel stuk, en dat kun je helaas niet voorkomen. Ik weet niet wat ik erger moet vinden: ladders in je panty of panty’s die nog niet eens geschikt zijn voor eenmalig gebruik.
En dan nog iets: ik bestelde gouden folie voor op je nagels, maar dat kwam nooit aan. En het ergste is: het laten terugstorten via Paypal van je Aliexpress aankoop, kost nog meer dan het product zelf. Dat doe ik de volgende keer maar niet meer. Gelukkig heb ik inmiddels iets anders binnengekregen van een andere website, wat heel erg lijkt op wat ik wilde.
