Zó maak je het
Maak een lijstje van alle droge ingrediënten van je uitgekozen recept. Onderaan dit artikel vind je twee recepten die precies in een weckpot van 600 mL passen. Je kuntt in dat gat een prop van aluminiumfolie met daaromheen doorzichtige folie doen, zodat je ingrediënten niet gaan schuiven. Als laatst maak je nog een leuk label aan je weckpot en klaar ben je.
Hoe weet je of je recept / bakmix in de weckpot past?
Dat vroeg ik me eerst namelijk ook af. Ik had geen idee hoe groot de weckpotten moesten zijn die ik ging kopen. Ik heb uiteindelijk de een-na-kleinste weckpotten van de Action gekocht, van 600 mL. Om achter deze maat te komen heb ik de recepten eerst zelf een keer gemaakt, zodat ik ongeveer wist hoeveel ruimte alle ingrediënten in beslag nemen. Maar als het last-minute is, heb je daar natuurlijk geen tijd voor. Je moet natuurlijk snel aan je kerstcadeau komen. Mijn tip is: ga uit van een normaal recept, doe dat in laagjes in de pot, en kijk hoeveel ruimte er over is. Heb je nog 1/3 van de pot over? Reken uit hoeveel ingrediënten je er nog bij moet doen. Let wel op dat je bijvoorbeeld geen recept krijgt waar je uiteindelijk 3,5 eieren bij moet doen, want dat kan natuurlijk niet.
Twee recepten die in een weckpot van 600 mL passen:
Recept muffins (in een weckpot van 600 mL)
- 330g bloem
- 185g basterdsuiker (lichtbruine)
- 4,5 tl kaneel
- 4,5 tl bakpoeder
- 6 eieren (inderdaad, dat zijn er veel!)
- 330 gram boter
- 3 appels

Recept koekjes (in een weckpot van 600 mL)
- 90 gram witte basterdsuiker
- 230 gram bloem
- 1/2 theelepel bakpoeder
- snufje zout
- 90 gram donkere basterdsuiker
- 1/2 theelepel vanillesuiker
- 1 ei
- 130 gram boter op kamertemperatuur
- Overige ruimte: havermout
- optioneel: 170 gram chocolade (dit zal niet in de weckpot passen, schrijf dit dus op het recept)
Je verwarmt de oven voor op 190C en bakt de (dunne) koekjes 10 minuten in de oven. Hier vind je er een uitgebreider artikel van. Je krijgt door dit recept ongeveer 25 koekjes, tenzij je ze wat dikker maakt.
Tips als je deze DIY gaat doen:
- Heb je, zoals bij de muffins, eigenlijk alleen maar donkere suiker en bloem? Gebruik dan steeds een gedeelte van de suiker en bloem om laagjes te creëren.
- Logisch is dat je alleen de droge producten in de pot doet – ja, ik zeg het maar even – en dat je een kaartje aan de weckpot maakt waarop je het recept schrijft. Vergeet dat dus niet!
- Past je recept met koekjes niet (zoals bij mij)?Voeg havermout toe!
- Er zit een gat in de binnenkant van de deksel. Gebruik dus een prop van aluminiumfolie met eromheen doorzichtige folie om het af te dekken, zodat de ingrediënten niet gaan schuiven.
