Nou, hier is het beloofde zeikverhaal hoor. Ik zou nog uitleggen hoe het kwam dat het alwéér misging met het kopen van een camera. Deze keer probeerde ik het niet via marktplaats, maar had ik alsnog besloten om een nieuwe camera te kopen. Mediamarkt leek de beste optie, omdat zij een set verkochten waar precies alles in zat wat ik wilde.
Onduidelijk op de site
Ik wilde de Canon 700D, de 18-55mm IS STM lens en de 50mm STM lens. Mediamarkt verkocht deze set dacht ik. Maar op hun website stond alleen aangeven dat je de 50mm lens zou krijgen. Meer niet. Van de 50mm lens zijn er namelijk meerdere, waarvan de 50mm STM lens de nieuwste is. En die wilde ik dus. Ik mailde (op 11 september, lekker vroeg dus) met de vraag welke lens erbij zou zitten en op 23 september kreeg ik ein-de-lijk antwoord op mijn vraag. De STM lens zou erbij zitten. Had ik even geluk, ik had precies de set gevonden die ik wilde.
En toen bestelde ik de camera..
Op 4 oktober bestelden we de camera, die op 5 oktober aankwam. Ik maakte het pakketje open en binnen 5 seconden zag ik dat het de verkeerde 50mm lens was, het stond gewoon op de doos. Ik reageerde niet echt verbaasd eigenlijk.. Ik had geen voorgevoel hoor, want ik had het gevraagd, maar aan de andere kant, was ik ook niet verbaasd dat het de verkeerde was. Wel heb ik zwart op wit dat ik de STM lens zou ontvangen, dus ik was van plan om vooral niet op te geven totdat ik de goede lens had.
Veel gedoe
Ik heb het verhaal inmiddels al aan vier medewerkers uitgelegd.. Steeds duurt het best lang voordat ze snappen wat ik bedoel. Vervolgens moeten ze een mailtje sturen om te overleggen, en dan pas krijg ik antwoord. Maar de antwoorden die ik dan krijg slaan nergens op: of mijn vraag is verkeerd begrepen, of het antwoord is onduidelijk. En soms is de vraag niet eens beantwoord. Dan moet je weer via de site gaan chatten, etc. Fijn he, allemaal? En je moet ook nog eens flink blijven zeuren voordat ze doorhebben dat je écht een oplossing wilt en niet stopt voordat je die niet hebt.
Oplossing
Omdat ze de set eerst niet op konden leveren als die combinatie, had ik bedacht dat ik de camera en kitlens bij Coolblue zou kopen, en de 50mm lens bij Mediamarkt met korting, waardoor hun fout mij geen geld zou kosten. Want zij hadden beloofd dat er voor die prijs de 50mm STM lens bij zat. Dan moet je je belofte ook nakomen, of er in ieder geval voor zorgen dat ik de set uiteindelijk voor dezelfde prijs heb. Maar toen werd er opeens gezegd dat de dingen van die set wel “los” in het assortiment kwamen. En inmiddels is dat ook zo: je kunt de 700D + kitlens kopen en daarnaast de 50mm STM lens. En de oplossing? Op 17 oktober mailden ze dat ik alles gewoon kan bestellen, en dat ik het prijsverschil terugkrijg. Eindelijk. Maarja, we kunnen donderdagavond pas bestellen, en vrijdag is de bloggermeeting.
Update: alsnog niet kunnen bestellen
Inmiddels is het dus donderdagavond. Ik kijk op de site en ja hoor, het is weer zover: de 700D + kitlens is niet meer op voorraad. Ik open weer een chat en vraag wanneer hij weer op voorraad komt. Het antwoord: “Die is helaas niet meer leverbaar voor ons!” PARDON?! Dat ding is pas een week weer als die combinatie op de site beschikbaar en is nu uitverkocht. Dan moet hij toch gewoon weer binnenkomen? Het was een simpele vraag maar ik had alsnog even het verhaal uitgelegd voor de duidelijkheid. Er wordt nu nagevraagd of hij wel of niet leverbaar is. Nou, hopelijk gaat het nu wel goed.
Om nog even op te sommen waarvoor de camera allemaal te laat is gekomen door deze fout van Mediamarkt: een fotografieworkshop, een dagje naar Amsterdam, mijn verjaardag – doei verjaardagscadeau – mijn vakantie in Hannover en binnenkort de bloggermeeting in Utrecht. Superfijn allemaal. Ik ben benieuwd wat het volgende ding is waarvoor de camera te laat komt.
