Mijn nieuwe Herschel rugzak • Wat vind ik wel en niet fijn aan deze rugzak?
Na 3 jaar werd het tijd om eens een nieuwe schooltas te kopen. Van tevoren had ik al bedacht dat ik óf een Fjallräven rugzak wilde of een tas van Herschel. Hoewel ik hiervoor een tas van Eastpack had, was dat merk nu mijn derde keuze. Het was een roze tas, eentje met 3 vakken. “Dat is handig”, hadden ze gezegd toen ik hem kocht. Mijn oude rugzak is nog lang niet stuk en was inderdaad erg handig (voor school) met zoveel vakken. Die tas is nog prima, maar je smaak verandert ook natuurlijk. Vandaag laat ik mijn nieuwe rugzak aan jullie zien, en vertel ik ook de plus- en minpunten die mij tot nu toe opvielen.
Waarom een nieuwe rugzak?
Zoals ik al zei: je smaak verandert. Maar dat is niet de enige reden hoor 🙂 Verder is het gewoon handig om vanaf de bovenbouw een kleinere rugzak te kopen omdat je wat minder boeken in je tas hoeft mee te nemen. In de onderbouw heb je natuurlijk veel boeken, en móét je dus wel een typische brugklasser-schildpadden-rugzak. Het scheelt niet heel veel hoor, maar ik wilde dus echt wel een nieuwe tas. Ik wil niet meer de school door als schildpad 😛 Mijn plan was om een mooie, hopelijk betaalbare, rugzak te vinden voor school, en die vond ik uiteindelijk! Hoewel: betaalbaar? Dat viel een beetje tegen, maar ik heb de goedkoopste tas genomen van de twee keuzes die ik had.
Grijze rugzak van Herschel
De kleinere versie
Van deze rugzak bestaat er een kleinere en een grotere versie, en dit is de kleine. Ik wilde eerst de grotere, maar deze was niet zo goedkoop: namelijk €109,99. Dat had ik er niet voor over, dus ik kocht de kleinere, goedkopere rugzak voor €89,99. Scheelt best veel en eigenlijk vond ik het helemaal niet erg om de rugzak een maatje kleiner te nemen, want ik wilde juist een kleine rugzak. Achteraf ben ik ook blij dat ik deze heb, omdat deze groot genoeg is.

Voordat ik deze rugzak kocht, was ik eerst al een keer naar Men At Work geweest, maar toen twijfelde ik nog. De grijze rugzak zag ik toen nog niet, maar wel een groene. Later gingen we naar Duifhuizen. Ik had er op veel blogs over gelezen, dus ik was wel benieuwd. Bijna had ik een fjallräven rugzak gekocht! Maar m’n moeder merkte op dat dat misschien niet fijn zou zijn voor m’n schouders, omdat de bandjes maar dun waren. Ik zag toen de rugzak die ik nu heb, maar dan in het rood, en twijfelde of ik die zou kopen.
Toch liepen we de winkel uit om weer terug naar Men At Work te gaan, want ik wilde toch de groene rugzak, dacht ik. En toen bleek dat ding dus €109,99 te zijn! Daarom keek ik bij de kleinere versie van die rugzak, want die was goedkoper. Weer kocht ik ‘m bijna, totdat een jongen met deze grijze tas bij de kassa stond om hem te kopen. “Heeft u nog zo’n grijze?” vroeg ik aan een medewerker. En na wat twijfelen kocht ik dus de grijze, want daar hadden ze er nog een van. En ik ben nog steeds heel blij met die keuze, want grijs blijft altijd leuk.
Wat is er goed of fijn aan deze tas van Herschel? (pluspunten)
- Het model is origineel en het is gewoon een mooie tas
- HET LAPTOPVAK IS ZO ZACHT OMG
- Een vakje voor je telefoon, dat op een handige plek zit (maar: kijk ook even bij de minpunten)
- Gaat met magneetjes dicht in plaats van de riempjes
- De magneetjes laten niet los wanneer je veel boeken in je tas hebt
- Dingetje om je oortjes doorheen te doen voor als je graag muziek luister op je fiets
En wat is er niet fijn of onhandig? (minpunten)
- Je hebt één vak voor alles (gelukkig wel een laptopvak) – dit is even wennen
- Het vakje voor m’n telefoon is niet heel groot, het past net en het is wel een gedoe
- Het voorste vakje kan je niet echt gebruiken, dit kan wel bij de grotere versie omdat het dan écht een vakje is in plaats van iets waar je alleen papiertjes in kunt doen
- Soms is het erin doen en eruit halen van boeken onhandiger: zo’n tas als deze kan alleen open aan de bovenkant, en niet gedeeltelijk aan de zijkant (met ritsen) zoals mijn vorige van Eastpack. Even wennen, maar het lukt wel.
- Heb je een shirt zonder mouwen? Helaas, de tas zal erg schuren over je schouder. Je kunt dit vermijden door de tas in één keer goed op je schouder te doen zodat hij “in evenwicht is”en dus niet kan gaan schuiven.
En nu denk je vast: “WOW, dat zijn veel nadelen! Heb je er geen spijt van?” Nee, totaal niet! Ik denk dat het een kwestie van wennen is. Ik vond het gewoon handig om niet alleen te laten zien wat de tas allemaal heeft en/of kan, maar ook om jullie mijn “eerste indruk” en plus- en minpunten van deze tas te laten zien. Misschien helpt dit je met het kiezen van een nieuwe schooltas! Heb je nog vragen over deze tas, dan kan je die altijd stellen in de reacties 🙂
