De een leeft in crop tops en de ander trekt ze liever niet aan. Tja, ik begrijp beiden! Ik geef eerlijk toe dat ik zo’n twee jaar geleden nog nooit een crop top aan had gehad en mezelf er ook niet mee rond zag lopen. Toch is dat nu héél anders: de helft van mijn T-shirts zijn crop tops! Het liefst draag ik ze met een highwaisted broek, dat vind ik persoonlijk fijner en mooier. Er zijn genoeg redenen om crop tops te dragen, en die vind je hieronder!
Een highwaisted broek + crop top staat héél leuk
Als je broek hoog genoeg is en je hebt een niet te korte crop top aan, dan zie je je buik niet eens. Zelf leef ik in highwaisted broeken – ik heb er 4 en dat zijn eigenlijk de enige broeken die ik nog draag. Af en toe draag ik mijn – enige – low waisted broek. Ook korte broeken vind ik leuker als ze highwaisted zijn, daar heb ik er inmiddels ook best veel van. En het enige “soort” shirt wat ik hierop draag is, je raadt het al, een crop top! Crop tops staan niet alleen leuk boven dit soort broeken, maar je kunt ze ook dragen op een leuk rokje.
Het zit luchtig
In de zomer is het echt fijn om “wat minder stof te dragen”. Daarom is een crop top op hete zomerdagen veel fijner dan een T-shirt. Het zit lekker luchtig! Je moet daarom ook niet de te strakke crop tops kopen, maar juist crop tops die wat losser vallen. De crop top die ik in dit artikel laat zien zit heel fijn en is lekker luchtig. Zoals je daar kunt zien, zie je met een highwaisted broek bijna niks van m’n buik.
Makkelijker “inkopen” en meer keuze
Tegenwoordig zijn er echt zóveel winkels die minstens voor de helft gevuld zijn met crop tops.. Vaak vind ik ze té kort hoor, vooral bij Forever 21. Dan koop ik ze liever niet. Een shirtje dat gewoon een beetje korter is dan een normaal T-shirt, die koop ik het liefst. De winkels hangen er vol mee en je zou véél minder keuze hebben als je alleen normale shirtjes koopt.

Hoe vaak ik wel niet zeg dat je moet dragen wat je leuk vindt en dus niet altijd met alle trends mee moet gaan.. Toch vind ik deze trend wél leuk en zie je mij dus ook vaak met een crop top aan. Omdat het een trend is, is dit juist je kans om eens een crop top te passen en te kijken of je het ook leuk vindt. De winkels hangen er vol mee en heel veel mensen dragen ze. Dé kans om het ook te proberen dus.
